About the RonPaulLive Community
There is not much you can't do within the RonPaulLive community. We primed the look, feel and features to blast our grassroots effort in to the next generation.
Once we get Ron Paul elected, our work has only just begun. President Paul will need all the help he can get working with our current congress and senate. And we all know what that will be like. So we will need to help him motivate our elected officials throughout the change of guard. And if they don't want to go along with Americans demand for change, then I suspect they will have to find a new home AND a new job.
We created some really awesome tools and features to aid us all the way. We have built an entire community from the bottom up.
You can create any group within any state you would like. However we have taken the liberty in creating nearly 500 groups, spread amongst every state. In fact if you'll notice, we have divided every state into congressional group districts. We did this merely to coordinate local efforts. We also created state, regional, and national think tanks to work from the national level while we all simultaneously work at the local level.
Inside of each congressional group is a Bulletin Board, Forum, Personal Connections, and Events Planner. Additionally we are all able to communicate with a built in Private Messaging Service and even have the ability to work from Skype and other community chat/teleconferencing tools.
And still there is more…
We then bridged the entire community with many other features that will work across the global space of the entire site, such as the Global Forum, Chat and blogging capabilities. We've also introduced the RonPaulLive TV platform to televise, seminars, interviews and training programs.
Suppose we have a major news worthy event and it is essential that folks not yet a part of the RonPaulLive community know about it?
Answer: One authentic tool for this grassroots effort was the implementation of the Action Advisory and Alert system, centered directly top row on the front page with the tabs.
How does it work? Any time there is a major Action event, we place the contents in this area. The feed then transfers to a second page for viewing through the "Read More…" tag. From this page, and on some occasions depending on the nature, you may be required to log in before viewing it.
However, this page is where we are able to blast the item into syndication through Digg, del.icio.us, facebook and other bookmark syndication tools.
This has proven extremely affective drawing droves of first time visitors by the hundreds to read the Action item. Just what we need if we are to affect important action events and our community while opening the pathway to others to become involved.
The RonPaulLive community was a vision that began many years ago. However, it was the Ron Paul movement that gave it life. We are so very thankful to Ron Paul and his run for the White House. We pledge this site and our work to his dream of peace in the world, to sound money, to the precious life of all, and to the freedoms we all cherish.
